I grew up on Gothic novels but I haven't given the specific tropes a lot of thought. Thanks for the recommendations! I'm going to check out Tea and Alchemy.

Very interesting! I really like the vibe of Gothic tropes, but as a very sensitive person, I find I can only handle them in small doses. My favorite is the comedic version of Gothic tropes. An example, I think, would be "The Undead Detective Agency" Series by Shelby Rhodes. If it's cute and fun, can it still be Gothic? I don't know that much about this genre, so it's a sincere question.
